Linking LinkedIn lets Pro Forma Copy post social content to your personal profile. OAuth is handled on LinkedIn's site — you do not type a password into Pro Forma Copy.
Step 1: Go to Settings and open Integrations
From your dashboard, open Settings in the left navigation, then choose Integrations. You'll see a grid of available platforms, including LinkedIn.
Step 2: Click Connect LinkedIn
Use Connect LinkedIn on the card. Your browser opens LinkedIn's permission screen, so there's nothing to copy and paste on our side.
Step 3: Authorize Pro Forma Copy on LinkedIn
On LinkedIn, review the requested permissions and choose Allow. Pro Forma Copy requests posting permission only, not access to messages or connections.
Step 4: Confirm the connection
After approval, LinkedIn redirects you back to Integrations. A green "Connected" badge appears on the LinkedIn card, along with your profile name and remaining session days.
💡 Session expiry
LinkedIn access tokens last roughly 60 days. As expiry gets close, the card shows an amber warning. If it expires, you'll see a red indicator and a refresh button so you can reconnect without losing settings.
Publishing a post
Once connected, open a social post from My Library, choose Publish, and select LinkedIn when prompted (flows can vary slightly by content type).
